Loan Operations Manager Loan Operations Chief Operations Officer Loan Administration Staff (pending) Exempt, FT 10 - 11 Monday – Friday, typically 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
This position requires the flexibility to work before and after normal business hours as necessary to meet deadlines and the needs of the Bank.
Job Summary Design, develop, and maintain the Commercial and Consumer Loan Documentation Department (CCLD) providing a lending support structure in line with the CIB’s strategic goals and growth plans. Provide CCLD support to all bank locations to service new and existing loan portfolios. Guide, and supervise staff for the department. Direct workflow for department to ensure that the productivity meets the needs of the internal and external customers. Verify and ensure that commercial and consumer loans are properly documented and are in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and Bank Loan Policy. This position works in conjunction with HR Department in hiring of staff and other issues that may involve the HR Department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Creates written procedures for department As Supervisor, trains, guides and directs department staff, ensuring appropriate training needs are met and providing assistance and support as needed. Develop procedures as needed, and overall coordination of department workflow. Prepares accurate loan documents utilizing the 20/20 and Laser Pro software for Commercial, Commercial Real Estate, Construction, and Consumer Loans Maintains general knowledge of commercial, commercial real estate and consumer loan products Order title insurance, property reports, and flood certifications as requested Prepares renewals and extensions as requested Obtains documentation necessary to perfect a lien, clear a real estate title, file a lien or any other documentation requirements necessary to facilitate a loan closing Maintains knowledge and understanding of the Bank's Loan Policy and Credit Administration Procedures and performs all responsibilities according to these guidelines. Prioritizes work accordingly due to time constraints of closings Maintains knowledge of the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA). Identifies loans to be entered into the Bank’s HMDA Loan Application Register Reviews loan after uploading to 20/20 System to ensure documentation accuracy Previews documentation prior to loan closings to ensure accuracy Complete procedure manual for Loan Operations area Complete pre and post-closing checklists to ensure efficacy of loan documentation

Comply with bank regulations; maintain above average performance in all areas of compliance. Attend outside, or receive on the job training, for loan documentation knowledge and compliance regulations. 4. Become familiar with our Bank’s products and service offerings. Staying current on loan policy changes and regulations; maintain compliance throughout the department Ensure loan documentation is delivered to and received from lenders in a timely manner Performs job accountabilities and ensures quality control throughout department with accuracy and timeliness. Maintains knowledge and understanding of CIB Service Standards for the department and departments that are a part of the workflow for this position. At all times, performs in a manner that meets these expectations. Provides open communication to supervisor or manager when Service Standards cannot be met due to training needs, equipment problems, quality of work received from others. Upholds the employment guidelines outlined in the Employee Handbook, utilizing HR Director’s assistance with employee relations when needed. Develops and maintains knowledge of compliance and internal control requirements necessary to complete the job. Performs duties in compliance with policy, procedure and process. Other duties may be assigned.
Minimum Qualifications Four or more years of high-level loan documentation support, or five or more years related experience and/or training. Prefer three or more years of supervisory experience. Prefer college degree or additional equivalent experience. Thorough knowledge of loan documentation and administration.
